πŸ”¬ Life Experiment 15, 2021

Hey There.

This past week, I haven't been particularly strategic with my work, and my productivity significantly dropped. Well, what else would you expect after two weeks of working on 120%?

I'm happy that I had a more relaxed week. It was time to recharge, take long walks and think. And think I did.

This week we have a little different issue of the newsletterβ€”a bit of networking and a few short essays.

Thinking Masterminds

Several weeks ago, Twitter released Twitter Spaces as a response to the new social media app ClubHouse (basically a voice chat room social media). I managed to sign up as a beta tester for Twitter Spaces.

This week on Thursday 04-08 at 15:15 (UTC + 1) I'm co-hosting the Thinking Mastermind event on Twitter Spaces with:

  • Indy from London @Indy_Neogy
  • Haikal from Malaysia @haikalkushahrin
  • Lorenzo from Italy @Ittaboba
  • Yina from New York @yinahuang

A fine group of creators from all across the globe. Yup, this happens if you network online ...

We will discuss the topic of problem-solving:

  • How do we problem solve?
  • Is there a formal process behind problem-solving?

To join, you need a Twitter account and Twitter app installed on your phone. If you are interested, let me know so I can send you the link to the chat room. The link will be publicly available and somewhere on my Twitter profile few minutes before the event, but if you are a person that needs reminders, let me know.

If the event goes well, it will become a re-occurring thing.

πŸ”¬ Weekly experiment 14, 2021

Last Monday, the April ship30for30 challenge started:

The idea is that each day for 30 days, one publishes a short 200-word atomic essay. The whole concept is a really powerful writing exercise because it forces you to pick one small topic. The moment you try to say too much, you go over the 200-word limit. I spiced up the challenge a bit with an illustration per essay.

My goal is to write 30 short essays on the topic of Thinking Through Writing. You can find the first 7 essays here .

So if you are interested in thought πŸ€” experiments, you've got plenty of material to read πŸ˜‰

One on one chats are still there. Sign up here . By now, only my mum gathered the courage to sign up, but we quickly cleared up that we can chat at any time if she wants πŸ˜‚

Don't forget to experiment and cheers till the next experiment.

P.S. Sharing is caring, so forward this newsletter to at least two friends. The friend who subscribes to the newsletter after you forwarded it to them has to send you a bag of gummy bears in return. Plus, send pics, or it didn't happen πŸ˜‰
